As Consensus Health’s Chief Commercial Officer, John is responsible for market development with a focus on managing commercial relationships with clients and prospects. By developing, implementing and maintaining a range of commercial best practices, John drives sales throughout the entire organization, including the successful launch of Consensus Health, a high-performance medical group and MSO for New Jersey’s independent physicians. John played an integral part in the launch of Consensus, and in less than three years, the company has exceeded original growth projections and has rapidly expanded throughout the state. In addition, John is responsible for overseeing and managing all commercial payer relationships and contracts. With expertise in channel management, John actively manages, leads and executes strategic initiatives designed to drive scalable and sustainable growth for the company.
Prior to his role at Consensus, John served as Chief Revenue Officer for Medfusion, a leading provider of patient experience management solutions. Before joining Medfusion, John spent four years with ZirMed, where he oversaw national sales operations. Prior to that, he spent nine years with IDX/GE in multiple commercial roles both in the United States and United Kingdom. Throughout his professional career, John has led negotiations for many large strategic enterprise software deals, both in the US and UK, and has worked across the continuum of care in the healthcare industry.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from East Carolina University.
